CJP Isa to get farewell dinner on Oct 25

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A luncheon will be held in honour of outgoing Chief Justice Faez Isa at the Supreme Court building tomorrow (Friday).
The event is being organised by the newly nominated chief justice Yahya Afridi.
Sources indicate that, in addition to the luncheon, Chief Justice Isa will receive gifts as part of the farewell celebration.
Furthermore, it has been revealed that the inauguration of the Supreme Court’s new Monument of Fundamental Rights, which is currently under construction, is set for tomorrow. Chief Justice Isa, along with other judges, will formally inaugurate the monument.

Notably, Justice Isa had previously declined a dinner, stating he did not wish to spend Rs 2 million of public funds on the occasion.
