GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – A citizen, who had come from abroad five days ago, was murdered during robbery in Arup police jurisdiction here on Monday night.
Abdul Sattar was going by his car along with her wife when two bandits on a bike stopped him at Alipur Chowk and killed him when he put resistance to their looting bid and escaped.
Police were called to the crime scene and started investigation into robbery-cum- murder case after shifting the dead body to hospital.
MAN TAKES LIFE OF WIFE FOR PROPERTY
In another incident in the same police jurisdiction, a man murdered his wife for taking her house she inherited.
Accused Ejaz wanted to get house of her wife Fatima, but she refused to fulfill his desire; on which he murdered her.
Police started investigation after sending the dead body to hospital. The accused fled after the murder. Police were searching for him.
TWO DEAD IN SHERA KOT FIRING
Two persons were killed in firing in Shera Kot, Lahore. The deceased were identified as Amir and Shamshair.
According to police, accused Afaq was arrested with murder weapon from the crime scene.
He killed Amir for allegedly having illicit relations with his wife; Shamshair, who was the friend of the accused and came with him from Sheikhupura, was killed in the firing.
