KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police have claimed that two suspected robbers have been killed during a search operation in Iqbal Market, Dunya News reported here on Thursday night.
According to police, the robbers were killed in an ‘encounter’ with police during a search operation.
Police were informed about the presence of two bandits in Iqbal Market of Orangi. When law enforcers reached the area to track down them, they opened fire on police party.
Police retaliated to the fire. As a result of an exchange of fire, two robbers were killed. Their dead bodies were shifted to hospital for post-mortem.
According to police, they were involved in many cases of robbery and other heinous crimes. Stolen goods, bikes and arms were seized from them.
