LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) killed three terrorists during an exchange of fire on Wednesday.
According to the spokesperson for the CTD, an intelligence-based operation was conducted near the Nankana Sahib Interchange. During the operation, terrorists opened fire on the CTD team. Three terrorists were killed while two others managed to escape during the exchnage of fire.
Officials stated that three hand grenades, three detonators, safety fuse wire, two rifles, bullets, and explosives were recovered from the terrorists.
The spokesperson said that a search operation is underway to arrest the fleeing terrorists. CTD teams have set up blockades near the Nankana Motorway Interchange, and the identification process of the slain terrorists is ongoing.
