Man shot dead, son wounded in Harbanspura gun attack

LAHORE (Dunya News) – A man was killed and his son sustained bullet injuries when unidentified assailants opened fire on them in Harbanspura, Dunya News reported here on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Naveed. The injured was shifted to hospital for autopsy. The reason for the murder could not be ascertained.
Police have started investigation after registering a case and launched a search operation for the arrest of the assailants.
ROBBERS INJURED
In Pirwala, two suspected robbers were injured in the firing of their own accomplices. They were being taken by police for recovery when their accomplices hiding road side opened fire on police in order to get them freed from police custody.
As a result of the firing the under custody robbers were injured. They were admitted to hospital. A search operation was launched for the arrest of the fleeing robbers.
POLICEMAN WOUNDED
In Hyderabad, a policeman was injured in the firing of unidentified armed men in Bhatti Nagar police jurisdiction. The injured was shifted to Civil Hospital. Further investigation was under way.
