LAHORE (Web Desk) - Pakistan's national fast bowler Mohammad Amir has surpassed Bhuneshwar Kumar's record for most maiden overs in T20 cricket.
While playing for the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons in the Caribbean T20 League, Amir broke Kumar's record of 24 maiden overs. Amir now holds the third position globally with 25 maiden overs.
The record for the most maiden overs is currently held by Sunil Narine with 30 overs, while Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh is second with 26 maiden overs.
32 years old Mohammad Amir continues to deliver exceptional performances in domestic T20 formats.
He has secured 347 wickets in 302 matches and has taken five wickets in seven games during the ongoing Caribbean T20 League.
