Lahore has new commissioner amid reshuffle in Punjab bureaucracy

Zaid bin Maqsood replaces Randhawa who will report to Establishment Division

LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Punjab government on Tuesday made transfers and postings of senior officers including the Lahore Division commissioner and deputy commissioners of several districts. 

According to the notifications, Lahore Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa was directed to report to the Establishment Division while Secretary Services (S&GAD) Zaid bin Maqsood was transferred and posted as Lahore commissioner. 

Meanwhile, Aurangzeb Haider Khan was posted as Sargodha deputy commissioner while Dr Noor Muhammad Awan was designated as Officer on Special Duty (OSD). 

Ali Akbar assumed the role of Bhakkar DC, Saima Ali was posted as Sahiwal DC, and Samiullah Farooq as Jhelum DC. Layyah DC Khalid Parvez was made OSD. 

Also, Ameera Baidar was posted as Layyah DC, Farrukh Atique as Okara DC, and Khalid Javed as Mianwali DC. 

Muhammad Zeeshan Hanif, formerly Okara DC, was made an OSD.
