PTI suspends Faisal Vawda’s party membership

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has on Wednesday suspended the party membership of former federal minister and party leader Faisal Vawda.

PTI Sindh President Syed Ali Zaidi in his tweet, issued showcause notice to Faisal Vawda and wrote, “Your statement is against party policy and are directed to submit an explanation of your statement otherwise your party membership will be suspended.”

Earlier, in his tweet PTI leader Asad Umar said that Faisal Vawda’s statement doesn’t represent the party policy and ideology and PTI Sindh President Ali Zaidi has been told on the instructions of party Chairman Imran Khan to issue a show cause notice to Faisal for violating the party policy.

It is pertinent to mention here that Faisal Vawda while addressing a presser said that he is foreseeing bloodshed in former prime minister Imran Khan’s upcoming long march.
