Two killed in firing on protesters after funeral in Karachi
KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least two were killed and one injured in firing on protesters after the funeral of a man killed by mob in Qasba Colony area of Karachi.
According to police, firing took place after the funeral of the mob attack victim, as a result of which two persons were killed and one injured.
It should be noted that two persons were brutally tortured by angry mob. They tortured one person to death and injured another, while they claimed that both men were robbers.
As per police officials, they have confirmed the claim of the people, adding that heirs of the victims told that the two men were students at the Madrasa and were innocent.
Karachi Police Chief Javed Odho said the situation is being analyzed. A high level committee has been formed which will be headed by DIG CIA. Other members of the committee will be SSP Investigation West and SSP Central.
The committee will conduct a comprehensive investigation into the incident from all angles
