Saba Qamar revealed slain model Qandeel Baloch came to her dreams, urging her to fight for justice

ISLAMABAD – (ONLINE) Leading actress Saba Qamar has revealed slain model Qandeel Baloch came to her dreams, urging Saba to fight for justice in her case.

Qandeel Baloch was strangled to death in 2016 by her brother Muhammad Waseem, who described her behaviour on social media as "intolerable".

Waseem who murdered his celebrity sister Qandeel Baloch was freed on February 19 after a court ruled it was not an "honour killing", allowing their mother to pardon him, lawyers had said.

During a recent interview with British broadcasting outlet, Saba talked about her upcoming projects including “Mr and Mrs Shameem”. She told that her upcoming project is a web series which will be telecasted at Indian streaming website. She will be playing lead opposite to veteran actor Nauman Ijaz.

While revealing the plot, Saba said her opposite Nauman Ijaz is playing a ‘slightly different role this time around’. Saba said Nauman is playing a man who is quite ‘gerlish’ in his attitude. Many people in our society are not transgender but they possess traits of women, owing to many different reasons. In the web series, however she revealed Nauman will be playing the only brother of four sisters, which in turn had a severe impact over ‘Mr Shameem’s personality.
