MQM-P announces to hold rally against Sindh govt on July 3

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-Pakistan) on Tuesday again announced to stage public rally in Karachi on July 3 against Pakistan Peoples’ Party-led (PPP) Sindh government.

Member of the MQM-Pakistan Coordinating Committee Abdul Wasim said that the Sindh government had taken a biased attitude towards the city. The MQM wants the rights of the people in this city, not fighting and rioting.

A protest meeting was held by DMC Central employees in Karachi. Addressing the meeting, MQM Coordination Committee member Abdul Wasim announced to hold a rally in Karachi on July 3 against the Sindh government.

He said that the Sindh government has adopted a biased attitude in every institution.

Deputy Convener Kanwar Naveed Jamil said that the attitude of Sindh government towards Karachi was not that of a stepmother but that of a witch.

Member National Assembly Osama Qadri said that provincial government is violating the rights of local people under the guise of 18th amendment. If this process is not stopped then Central Municipality employees can lock up and go on strike.
