ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Tuesday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government has restored visas for Kuwait and Pakistanis will get employment opportunities in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said that he visited Kuwait on one day official visit on the directions of PM Imran Khan, adding that visa facility has been restored for Pakistanis in Kuwait in various fields including medical, construction.
Sheikh Rashid said that the credit goes to the government of Prime Minister Imran Khan, adding that this was a big problem that his government has resolved. He said Saudi Arabia has 3 million job opportunities, of which 30% will go to Pakistanis.
Earlier, the interior minister lashed out at the opposition parties and said that Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has lost its momentum, adding that he had already predicted that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will be divided.
Some people are maligning the national institutions without any reason. Baseless allegations and smear campaign against the intelligence agencies are damaging the country’s image, he added.
Sheikh Rashid further said that thirty percent Pakistanis will soon get Saudi Arabia visas. Remittances have played vital role in four percent growth, he went on to say.
The federal minister said that the government is equipping the cyber wing with modern gadgets.
