Quetta: Two patients shifted to hospital on suspicion of Congo virus

One of the patients belongs to Zohb while the other is resident of Muslim Bagh.

QUETTA (Dunya News) - Two patients were brought to the Fatima Jinnah Chest and General Hospital on suspicion of Congo virus on Sunday, Dunya News reported.

According to Fatima Jinnah Chest and General Hospital sources, the patients have been shifted to isolation ward and their blood samples have been sent to laboratory.

Hospital sources said that one of the patients belongs to Zohb while the other is resident of Muslim Bagh.

Congo fever is a tick-borne viral disease which is mainly transferred to humans from pets. The symptoms of the viral disease may include fever, muscle pains, headache, vomiting, diarrhea, and bleeding into the skin. Complications may also include liver failure.
