Former leaders made properties in London's most expensive areas: PM

QUETTA (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Wednesday has said that former leaders have made properties in most expensive areas of London.

Addressing a ceremony after performing the groundbreaking of various projects in Quetta, the premier said that we have to develop the backward areas of Pakistan to enhance the status of the country.

He further expressed happiness over launching development projects in Balochistan. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) was suffering from terror activities at the time when Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) came into power, he added.

PM Imran said that health cards are being provided to all the provinces while Kisan cards have also been given to farmers for direct subsidy.  

He reiterated determination of his government to develop Western route of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor to connect areas, which were neglected in the past.

Prime Minister, on the occasion, also directed National Highway Authority, to ensure top quality of roads being constructed in Balochistan.

He said 11,000 kilometres long roads were constructed in 15 years, whereas infrastructure projects with a total length of 3,300 kilometres in just two and half years of the PTI government.

The projects inaugurated by PM include 22-kilometer dualization of Quetta Western Bypass (N-25) and construction of 11-kilometer Dera Murad Jamali Bypass (N-65).
