The PML-N leader has requested the court to dismiss NAB's appeal with fine.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday has submitted her reply on National Accountability Bureau (NAB) plea in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
The PML-N leader has requested the court to dismiss NAB’s appeal with fine. The anti-graft watchdog wants to suppress the voices of opposition leaders with cases and arrests, she added. Maryam Nawaz said NAB is performing ‘political engineering’, saying, it seems that NAB chairman is the spokesman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
Lahore High Court (LHC) had approved my bail in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case as per law. NAB’s responsibility is to stop corrupt practices in the country not to hold inquiry on political statements, she stated.
