PML-N limited to central Punjab because of Maryam's politics: Fawad

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Sunday said that Maryam Nawaz’s politics have restricted Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to only central Punjab.
Talking to media persons, the federal minister, while reacting to internal differences between members of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), said that before this they were against Prime Minister Imran Khan and now they are fighting each other. Half of the political parties in PDM support PML-N while other half support PPP, he added.
The federal minister also claimed that Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar enjoys full support of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
On the other hand, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Sunday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will benefit from differences between Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Talking to media persons, the federal minister said that he is witnessing it for the first time in his life that opposition parties are issuing show cause notices to each other.
Sheikh Rashid reiterated that opposition is not a threat to government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He also rebuffed reports of Maryam Nawaz’s departure and said that it is out of question that government will allow her to go abroad.
