SHC allows PTI's Saifullah Abro to contest Senate elections

SHC nullified the decision of election tribunal.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday allowed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Saifullah Abro to contest Senate elections.
The SHC, while hearing plea a against election tribunal’s decision to reject Saifullah Abro’s nomination papers for the Senate elections, nullified the decision of the tribunal and allowed him to contest the polls.
Earlier on Monday, election tribunal had nullified decision of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and rejected nomination papers Saifullah Abro.
The plea in the tribunal had argued that the PTI candidate concealed his assets in the papers and returning officer (RO) accepted the nomination papers without hearing the other side.
