Unofficial results: PML-N wins PP-51 Wazirabad by-election

PML-N candidate Begum Talat Mahmood secured 53,903 votes to win the PP-51 Wazirabad by-election.
WAZIRABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) won the by-election in the Punjab Assembly constituency PP-51 Wazirabad on Friday, Dunya News reported.
According to unofficial results, PML-N candidate Begum Talat Mahmood secured 53,903 votes to win the PP-51 Wazirabad by-election. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Muhammad Yousuf remained second by getting 48,484 votes.
Provincial Assembly seat PP-51 Wazirabad was vacated due to death of PML-N MPA Chaudhry Shaukat Manzoor Cheema in June 2020 due to coronavirus.
On the other hand, PML-N candidate is also leading the vote count in National Assembly constituency NA-75-Daska.
According to unofficial results received from 260 polling stations, Noshin Iftikhar of PML-N is ahead in vote counting with 79,223 votes. PTI’s Ali Asjad is second with 75,533 votes.
