CEC seeks report on firing incident during NA-75-Sialkot by-election
Chief Election Commissioner has ordered action against those involved in the firing incident.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) has sought report on firing incident during NA-75-Sialkot from the IG Punjab, Dunya News reported on Friday.
According to the spokesperson of the Election Commission, the Chief Election Commissioner has ordered action against those involved in the firing incident. A report has also been sought from IG Punjab till February 22.
He also said that further action in this regard will be taken in the light of the IG s report at the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) meeting. Chief Election Commissioner will preside over the meeting on February 23.
