The economy of the country has been contaminated, said Marriyum Aurangzeb.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Tuesday has clarified that opposition parties have not dragged any national institution into politics. Talking to media, the PML-N leader said that the Constitution of Pakistan has not allowed any national institution to interfere in the politics. The economy of the country has been contaminated, she added. Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the jobs are available to only ‘friends of Bani Gala’. Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan is exercising his ‘incompetent’ political skills from two and a half years in Pakistan, she stated.
On the other hand, Ahsan Iqbal, General Secretary of ML-N, said that promulgation of ordinance despite lacking two third majority in Parliament is height of ignorance of incumbent government.
Ahsan Iqbal, while talking to media persons outside accountability court in Lahore, alleged that Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to issue Senate tickets to his friends.
He further said that Presidential ordinance is an attempt to pressurize the apex court.
The PML-N leader, while announcing that his party will challenge presidential ordinance on open Senate vote, said that constitution of Pakistan cannot be amended just to benefit friends of Imran Khan.
He also requested Supreme Court to reject Presidential reference on Senate elections through open ballot.
