PM Imran to preside over federal cabinet meeting today
The federal cabinet will discuss a nine-point agenda during the meeting.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The federal cabinet will meet today (Tuesday) in Islamabad to discuss the country’s economic and political situation, Dunya News reported.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will preside over the federal cabinet meeting to be held at the Prime Minister’s office. The cabinet will discuss a nine-point agenda during the meeting.
According to sources, the federal cabinet will consider a summary of the establishing 30 new accountability courts across the country while the chairman of the IT and Telecom task force will brief the Cabinet.
The federal cabinet will discuss and endorse the decisions taken by the Cabinet Committee on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) while the ratification of decisions taken by Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) during it meeting on February 1 is also part of the cabinet meeting agenda.
The Ministry of Communication would brief cabinet meeting on the Metro Bus project, the appointment of Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation administrator is also part of the agenda.
Sources further said that the summary of the new chairman OGRA will be presented in the cabinet meeting for approval. The federal cabinet will also hold discussion on mutual legal requests from non-treaty countries.
