PML-N rally in coronavirus hit Mansehra is unfortunate: Taimur Jhagra

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Minister Taimur Khan Jhagra has said that a public rally by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in most coronavirus hit district of the province is unfortunate.
The provincial health minister, in a tweet, said that second wave of coronavirus is worrisome as coronavirus cases in Mansehra have exceeded 1400 and 57 cases were reported in last 24 hours.
He said that politicians should not endanger lives of people and urged them to show leadership by postponing the rally.
It is pertinent to mention here that PML-N is all set to hold public gathering in Mansehra today (Wednesday) despite ban on rallies across the country due to surge in coronavirus cases. Maryam Nawz will address the participants of the rally.
A statement issued by Mansehra district administration stated that in view of the worsening coronavirus situation in the country, PML-N was not allowed to hold a rally.
The local government said that the virus’ second wave is more dangerous than the first and demands care and safety.
