Power outages of up to ten hours being held in various areas of Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Power outages of up to ten hours are being held in various areas of Karachi. The K-Electric spokesperson has said that loadshedding is being conducted due to reduced gas pressure.
The spokesperson further added that production of 300 megawatts of electricity is affected as a result and the K-Electric has contacted the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) authorities to solve the problem.
Power outages – including night hours – are being held in areas including Malir, Liaquatabad, Abul Hassan Isphani Road, Orangi Town, Hazara Colony, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Johar, New Karachi Town, North Nazimabad, Lines Area and others.
