Employees of South Punjab secretariats to get double salary

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The cabinet committee on Finance has approved financial package for the employees of the South Punjab secretariats, Roznama Dunya reported on Friday.
According to details, all workers of junior and senior ranks will receive double salary whereas those employees who are given executive allowance will receive 75% additional pay.
Furthermore, the committee approved Rs 8.40 crore for house rent of the workers of the South Punjab secretariats.
Earlier on Tuesday, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar approved the models of civil secretariats of Bahawalpur and Multan.
In a statement issued from Lahore, the chief minister said that the Punjab Infrastructure Development Authority has developed models for both the secretariats.
He said that Civil Secretariat of South Punjab Bahawalpur and Civil Secretariat South Punjab Multan will be constructed on modern lines.
He said a new era of progress and development has begun in South Punjab under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
