LHC bans plastic bags in Punjab
Plastic bags are a cause of environmental pollution.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday banned use of polythene plastic bags in Punjab.
According to details, LHC on plea of advocate Abuzar Salaman Khan has ordered authorities to immediately implement the court’s order of ban on polythene bag.
Petitioner had argued that plastic bags are a source of pollution and significant damaged has been caused to environment from their use.
