Govt isn't going anywhere and will complete its tenure: PM Imran

The premier said allies are an important part of the government and their concerns will be addressed

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday said that the opposition is making daily statements about the end of the government but the government is not going anywhere and will complete its tenure.

Addressing the dinner in Islamabad on Sunday, he said that the opposition that has ruled the country for over 30 years is criticising his government but only the PTI can change this country.

“Everything will be file if I leave the mafia,” he said and added they brought the country to the brink of disaster.

The prime minister claimed that there were no differences in the party, adding that the allies would go along and difficult decisions have to be made in the most difficult situations.

Imran Khan also held separate meetings. The prime minister also discussed the economic goals, difficulties and problems facing the country in the coronavirus situation.

He also assured the members of the National Assembly of providing development funds.

Khan went on to say that the coronavirus had caused economic loss to the country but nevertheless, the government is focusing on stabilizing the country s economy.

The premier said that the allies have always been consulted in important decisions, adding that the allies are an important part of the government, and their concerns will be addressed.

He said that a balanced budget has been presented in the current situation.
