Con-men looting people online amid coronavirus lockdown

Actual number of incidents is much higher than what is being reported
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Criminals have started adapting to the new normal of nationwide coronavirus lockdown and are now being reported as looting people online.
According to details, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has received a plethora of complaints with financial damages of over Rs 100 million during the days of lockdown.
FIA’s cyber crime wing has reported online banking frauds worth Rs 55.5 million, Rs 20 million in mobile banking, Rs12 million in social media frauds. It is further said that the actual number of incidents is much higher than what is being reported.
