Awareness campaign against kite flying on Cable and TVs failed to produce significant results

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Provincial government in a report submitted to Punjab Assembly on Monday accepted its failure to stop kite flying in the province.

Punjab Interior ministry accepted that no action was taken against kite flying other than registering 1349 cases in different police stations.

According to details submitted, Model Town division registered 800 cases, City division registered 549 and Civil Lines division didn’t share details of registered cases.

According to Interior ministry, awareness campaign against kite flying on Cable and TVs failed to produce significant results.
