KARACHI (Dunya News) – After Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar urged Karachiites to not pay taxes to the Sindh Government, Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah Tuesday termed it a political statement and said it was given because the mayor had not eaten breakfast.

Talking to media, Nasir Hussain Shah stressed that issues of the metropolis should be resolved instead of leveling allegations against each other. He said that the provincial government is willing to call on the MQM-P leader to work together for the city.

Adviser to Chief Minister Sindh on Information, Law and Anti Corruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab said Waseem Akhtar is the most unsuccessful mayor in Pakistan’s history who accuses the provincial government for personal interests.
