Police firing injures youth in Karachi
A 17-year-old boy was injured when police opened fire in Lucky Star area in Karachi on Monday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A 17-year-old boy was injured when police opened fire in Lucky Star area of Saddar in Karachi on late Monday night, Dunya News reported.
The 17-year-old victim was identified as Ahmad s/o Muhammad Sohail. Residents nabbed the policeman Adnan, involved in firing, and handed him over to Rangers.
Angry residents staged a protest outside Saddar Police Station against the incident. They were of the view that Ahmad went to park his father’s car when police opened fire at him. They also said that the police party involved in firing was under the influence of alcohol.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered against police official Adnan under Section 324 at the Saddar Police Station. The case was filed on behalf of victim’s father Muhammad Sohail.
