Light rain turns weather pleasant in Lahore

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Light rain with gusty winds in Lahore and its adjacent areas in on late Thursday night turned the weather pleasant, Dunya News reported.
Rain was also reported from other parts of the country including Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, D.I. Khan, Zhob, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir..
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, a westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to weaken from Friday.
Met Office said mainly hot and dry weather occurred in most parts of the country during next 24 hours. However, rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu divisions, Lasbella and Dadu, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
