ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal cabinet ordered to recover the profited money from the medicine companies which unneccesarily inflated the prices. Cabinet also approved to reduce the medicines’ cost.
Information Secretary Firdous Ashiq Awan said that pharmaceutical companies took advantage of the relief by misusing the drug policy.
According to the details, Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired the session in federal cabinet where he decided to recover the money from pharmaceutical companies and deposit it into the national exchequer.
Firdous Ashiq Awan told media that Pakistan is close to free-trade agreement with China. She said that there were some problems with Iran, which had to be eliminated.
