Safe City: More than 25000 law violation reported

LAHORE (Roznama Dunya) – Punjab Safe City Authority has released the statistics of October 2018 pertaining to law and order in Lahore.
As per the data, operation and monitoring centre has reported 25,980 cases over violation of rules and suspicious activities.
Digital evidence was provided in 217 cases to assist the police in investigation whereas 103 suspected individuals and 5032 vehicles underwent surveillance through police response unit and dolphin squad.
During this, action was taken against 4834 vehicles on the absence of number plate.
Police also handed over eight missing individuals back to their families.
In September, FIR was registered against 15 law abiders. Moreover, at least 83 protests and rallies were monitored from the centre through digital surveillance system.
