Khanewal man sets friend alight over old enmity
The friends fell into a dispute some time ago but reconciled afterwards.
KHANEWAL (Dunya News) – A man in Khanewal on Monday killed his friend after setting him ablaze following an old enmity.
Resident of the city’s urban area Makhdoompur Pahuran, Tasawur Abbas was a close friend of Taimoor. They fell into a dispute some time ago but reconciled afterwards.
However; Taimoor kept the memory of the clash alive and called Tasawur in the vague of visiting a fair.
As Tasawur arrived on the decided spot, Taimoor doused him in petrol and set on fire.
The victim died in Multan’s Nishtar Hospital today after remaining admitted there for 12 hours. The burning incident had occurred on November 4.
Police while taking action against the incident has arrested Taimoor and his accomplice.
