Govt taking steps to simplify procedure for tax filers: Hamad Azhar

(Web Desk) - Minister of State for Revenue Hamad Azhar says the government is taking measures to simplify the procedure for tax filers to achieve the target, Radio Pakistan reported.

Talking to a private news channel, he said Urdu version page would be introduced to facilitate every citizen who wishes to come into the tax net.

The Minister of State said that taxes would be imposed on those receiving high salaries or income while poor persons would be exempted from tax.
