Law Ministry decides to change method to acquire succession certificate
The proposal to amend the law has been forwarded to the prime minister.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Law Ministry has prepared recommendations for changing the method of obtaining the succession certificate. The proposal to amend the law has been forwarded to the prime minister.
According to the proposed amendment, succession certificate could be obtained through the Family Tree of NADRA. Under new proposal, succession certificate would be issued by NADRA instead of court.
Under the new proposal, settlement of disputed will be registered and after the registration, the settlement will get legal status.
