PTI offered me to join party, claims Farooq Sattar

Sattar urged Sindh governor Imran Ismail to take steps to strengthen PTI-MQM alliance in province.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar on Wednesday has claimed that his mutual friends offered him to contest by-elections from the platform of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Talking to the media in Karachi, Sattar said that PTI wanted him to participate in the by-polls in NA-247 from Arif Alvi’s seat. I cannot leave MQM at any cost, he clarified.

He also demanded to launch an investigation into the recovery of alcohol from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Sharjeel Memon‘s hospital room and also urged to sort out the issues of Ali Raza Abidi who has recently parted his ways from MQM.

Meanwhile, Farooq Sattar congratulated PTI leader Arif Alvi on becoming president of Pakistan and expressed hope that he will resolve the problems of Karachi.

He also asked Sindh governor Imran Ismail to take steps to strengthen PTI-MQM alliance in the province.
