New taxes on cards to achieve targets: FBR Chairman
Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Sohail Ahmad says that the government will have to impose more taxes to achieve the tax target of Rs 1,386 billion, reported Dunya News. Talking to Dunya News he said that government would decide to impose new taxes in January. He told that keeping Pakistans economic condition in view, IMF has allowed to relax 1380 billion tax targets. However revenue of Rs 1396 billion will have to be collected to fulfill budged needs, he added.
