Argentine designers showed off new winter fashions in Buenos Aires.

Argentine designers showed off new fall/winter fashions in Buenos Aires as Buenos Aires fashion week continued.The evening opened with austere creations from the brand Menage a Trois, headed by designer Amelia Chaban.Based in black, Chabans collection included fitted coats, long pants and more revealing floor length lace dresses.Colour and shine came in the form of gold dresses and sequins on lace tops.What you saw is a little of what Im showing, which is tailoring mixed with wool and leather, cashmere capes, the trend of ankle-length pants, short blacks dresses. And the fabrics are fabulous, characteristic of Menage a Trois, pied-de-poule, Prince of Wales wool, cashmere, Georgette, silks and lace, Chaban said after her show.Next up was Iaia Canos line. Cano also used a dark palette, with purples and blacks in long dresses and high-waisted skirtsModels also wore elbow-high black gloves, and Cano added colour with flowing gowns.The event, known as BAAM or Buenos Aires Alta Moda, runs until Tuesday, March 27.
