The 'Ghanta Awards' started two years back to celebrate and reward the worst of Bollywood.

Most of the awards ceremonies are meant honour stars for excellence in cinema. But Ghanta Awards dishes out trophies to the worst and poorly constructed movies, wooden actors and actresses and the worst rip-offs. Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor and Ra.One have bagged this years Ghanta Awards.Salman Khan has bagged worst actor of the year title at this years Ghanta Awards for his performance in Bodyguard and Ready.On the other hand, Shahrukh Khans Ra.One won the worst film of the year award.Director of Ready and Bodyguard, Anees Bazmee, was awarded the worst director of the year.The Ghanta Awards are a desi version of Hollywoods Razzies and celebrates and recognizes the worst in Bollywood.The nominees for the Annual Ghanta Awards were decided by a panel of experts and the winners were chosen by public through online voting.
