SC says sending contempt issue to NA could be mulled if Gilani confesses to his offence.

PM’s attorney Aitzaz Ahsan said this during the hearing of the contempt case against Yousaf Raza Gilani. Seven-member bench headed by Justice Nasirulmulk heard the case.Aitzaz argued the law secretary was asked to write the letter to the Swiss officials, instead of the prime minister. He further argued the President Asif Ali Zardari enjoys immunity until he was holding the office. PM has never denied implementing the court’s decision, he maintained. He also said he never contended that the decision of the court was wrong.All that was meant was that while the decision of the court on NRO was right, its implementation was not possible until Asif Ali Zardari was holding his office.
