Lahore: 24 judges apply for transfer to other cities

About 24 Additional District and Session judges applied for transfer due to misbehaviour of lawyers.

They have also moved an application to the Session Judge Lahore in this regard.The judges have said in their application that attitude of lawyers in Lahore is not satisfactory as they try to influence on under hearing cases.The application also said that if the judgment is made on merit, judges have to face tremendous pressure of annoyed lawyers who desire for favourite judgement. Even, the angry lawyers don’t stop from devastating the judicial record.In the end, they were of the view that they would not like to render their services in Lahore; so they should be transferred to other cities.The Session Judge would refer the application to the Registrar Lahore High Court. Later, it would be moved before the Chief Justice Lahore High Court for further approval.
