Sherrys appointment challenged in LHC

The appointment of Sherry Rehman was challenged in Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday.

The appellant Azhar Siddique Advocate filed petition in LHC, in which he pointed that Sherry Rehman is the member of National Assembly.Therefore, as per the Constitution she cannot hold any official position until she resigns from assembly. He further informed the court that another petition against Sherry Rehman is also in the court.Azhar Siddique appealed to the court that the appointment of Sherry Rehman as ambassador in the US should be declared null and void.
