Karachi: Six more killed in firing, violence incidents

At least six people were killed in separate incidents of firing and violence in Karachi on Thursday.

Two men namely Umair and Rauf were shot dead by unknown miscreants in North Nazimabad area of Karachi while a youth namely Faizan was murdered near Natti Jetti Bridge.In another incident, ASI shahjahan was gunned down by unknown motorcyclists in Manghopir area. Shahjahan was presently serving at SP Orangi office.Meanwhile, Sajjad who was injured in firing in Gulshan-e-Hadeed last night and Amanullah who was injured in Gulistan-e-Johar died in hospital.On the other hand, search operation by police continued for two hours in Majeed Para area of Dalmia and Mujahid Colony and five suspected persons were arrested.The women from those areas protested during the operation. Police could not recover drugs or any weapon during the operation but a wave of fear spread among the residents of the area who are already terrified by terrorist activities.
