LAHORE (Dunya News) – National hockey team captain Muhammad Imran said on Tuesday that those who eat ‘naan chanay’ in training camps cannot beat world champions. He said that if Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has made a committee then a final decision for the betterment should also be taken, reported Dunya News.
Talking to media, Muhammad Imran said that those who drink sherbet and eat ‘naan chanay’ cannot compete with world champions.
Commenting on the fact finding committee made by PM Nawaz, he said that only forming committees will not do any good if action is not taken adding that a final decision should be taken to improve the state of the sport.
Muhammad Imran also criticized the decision of swapping players out of the squad for every other tournament.
