Six suspects including Tooba involved in Areeba murder case: police

CM Punjab took the notice and ordered to investigate the case according to the law.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore police have detained suspect Tooba who dumped the suitcase carrying Areeba’s corpse at the bus station. The police have also disclosed the involvement of as many as six people in a murder case, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.
While talking to the Dunya News, Areeba’s brother Zohaib told that police have geared up the investigation to nab the detained Tobah’s accomplices.
Police apprehended Tobah, who dropped off the suitcase at Shera Kot bus stop, from Johar Town in Lahore who later confessed that Areeba was killed after being raped.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Investigation Rana Ayaz Saleem revealed that Areeba, student of Punjab University, had a passion of becoming a model which is why she went to meet Tooba in Johar Town area on January 12 where she was raped and killed.

Police further told that her body was dumped at the Shera Kot bus station the next day.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on the appeal of bereaved family, ordered to investigate the case according to the law.
