Reports of Nawaz Sharif's PET scan will be issued after Christmas holidays

LONDON (Dunya News) – PET scan of former premier Nawaz Sharif suggested narrowing of coronary arteries — blood supply to heart is deficient — which is a risk for a heart attack and cause of his ongoing angina, according to hospital sources.

On condition of anonymity, sources said that due to complication in arteries Nawaz Sharif is suffering from angina and to maintain blood supply to heart, ‘coronary intervention’ is required. The doctors might go for heart bypass surgery if his blood fails to get supplied to his heart.

Reports of Nawaz Sharif PET scan will be issued after Christmas holidays.

Personnel doctor of Nawaz Sharif Dr. Adnan neither confirmed nor denied the reports, however last week he confirmed that Nawaz Sharif was diagnosed with coronary disease.
