BNP Mengal pledges support to budget for FY2019-20
According to Dunya News, both parties settled on good terms at the PM Office today.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Balochistan National Party (BNP) Akhtar Mengal will support the approval of federal budget 2019-20 after government agreed the terms to provide energy, build roads and dams in Balochistan on Wednesday.
According to sources, federal government also agreed to provide funds to BNP Mengal for mega projects. Prime Minister also expressed his willingness to issue development funds to Balochistan.

The first session was held in Parliament Lodges in the afternoon whereas the second session was held at 8pm at the PM Office. PM Khan was kept informed and updated about the talks between federal government and BNP Mengal.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members Pervez Khan Khattak, Qasim Suri and Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar and former chief of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Muhammad Shehzad Arbab attended the meeting whereas Akhtar Mengal, Jehanzeb Jamaldini, Hashim Notezai and Asim Baloch attended the meeting representing BNP.
The committee consisting of Qasim Suri, Pervez Khan Khattak and Muhammad Shehzad Arbab will implement the terms. Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will ensure development to all backward areas including Balochistan, while all matters related to BNP Mengal were resolved peacefully.
