Pakistan, China sign agreements for cooperation in diverse fields

Both the sides discussed the entire gamut of bilateral relations.

BEIJING (Dunya News) – Delegations of Pakistan and China on Saturday signed 15 agreements for cooperation in diverse fields.

According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang held meeting at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

Both the sides discussed the entire gamut of bilateral relations as well as regional and international matters of mutual interests.

Agreements related to poverty alleviation in Pakistan and strengthening of cooperation in agriculture, industrial sectors and technical training were also signed by the two sides.

The two countries signed an MoU for cooperation in forestry, earth sciences and transfer of electronics.

One agreement was signed between Higher Education of Pakistan and Science Academy of China whilst another was signed between Chinese Academy of Science and Pakistan Metrological Department.

Earlier today, PM Imran visited People’s Heroes monument in Beijing and witnessed guard of honor.



Chinese premier Li Keqiang accorded warm welcome to Pakistani counterpart at the venue. PM Imran laid floral wreaths on the monument.

On the occasion, anthems of both the countries were played.
