Power breakdown hits parts of Karachi after rain

The local administration said that the work to restore the electricity is underway.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – As the rain lashed most part of Karachi, the power breakdown in various areas has also turned out to be so annoying for the locals.

The electricity load-shedding in certain parts of the city including Tariq Road, Guru Mandir, Gulshan Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Johar, Lyari, Malir and Clifton was witnessed after rain shower.

The local administration said that the work to restore the electricity is underway.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country.

However, rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir.
